Shift Chemical began by supplying chemical products̶̶̶-primarily release agents and coating agents̶to customers in casting and forging industries.

Many of these products are not suited to mass distribution, as customers often require solutions tailored to specific applications and conditions. By closely aligning with each customer’s needs and operating environment, we have continuously developed customized products, resulting in the broad lineup we offer today.

Even now, no matter how niche the requirement may be, as long as there are customers who truly need it, we draw on our years of industry experience and expertise to develop the right solution.

Through many years of business with the casting and forging industries we have received numerous requests that go beyond the framework of chemical products, such as Can you make something like this? or Can you handle products like these?

One business that began from such customer needs is our shot blasting business, which has now grown into one of our major business pillars.

Initially, this business started with the import and sale of shot blasting abrasive media. Today, however, we handle not only abrasive media, but also a wide range of consumables such as parts and shot belts. In addition, we have a dedicated shot blasting construction and maintenance team based in Amagasaki City, Hyogo Prefecture, enabling us to provide comprehensive support for all shot blasting needs, including repairs and proposals for new equipment.

We also address customer challenges beyond chemical products, including factory machinery and equipment, auxiliary materials, and raw materials. Regardless of whether the issue is related to chemical products, or even to the casting and forging industries, we work together with our partner companies to find solutions wherever possible and devote ourselves fully to resolving our customers’ problems.

Shift Chemical’s pursuit of manufacturing and monozukuri is never limited to chemical products alone.

Prompt Flexible and Reliable Support

As a small company Shift Chemical strives to provide prompt and flexible support responding as quickly as possible whenever our customers face difficulties.

We maintain inventory at three warehouses our head office Osaka Nanko and Izumiotsu so that we can respond immediately when we receive orders from our customers.

We are also able to flexibly meet complex requirements that differ from project to project including small lot orders short delivery times and spot requests. In this way we support production sites where conditions can change quickly and unexpectedly.

At the same time we have obtained ISO 9001 certification and maintain a quality management system in accordance with its standards. We continually work to improve our products and services and strive to provide products that our customers can use with confidence.
