Purpose
Are unnecessary costs (“slag”) building up on your furnace walls?
Slag Conditioner TL is a product designed to remove slag adhered inside melting furnaces and ladles while also purifying molten metal and preventing slag buildup on furnace walls.
Simply add it together with pig iron or scrap metal during melting.
By reducing slag buildup and improving molten metal cleanliness, the following benefits can be achieved:
〇 Reduced energy costs for melting furnaces
〇 Shorter melting time
〇 Extended refractory life
〇 Reduction of defects
〇 Improved work efficiency
Why not start reducing “cost” = “slag” with Slag Conditioner TL?
Features
| Effective Performance with a Small Addition | Effective performance with only 0.01~0.05% addition to molten metal volume. |
|---|---|
| Easy to Use with Excellent Workability | Easy and reliable operation—can be added directly in the bag with no weighing required. |
| Safe and Reliable Ingredients | Contains no fluorine or fluoride compounds and does not alter molten metal composition. |
| Contributes to Cost Reduction | Contributes to cost reduction by reducing furnace power consumption and extending refractory life. |
| Compatible with a Wide Range of Molten Metals | Suitable for molten metals above 1100°C, including cast iron, cast steel, and copper alloys. |
How to use
Add directly in the bag together with pig iron or scrap before melting. Recommended usage amounts are as follows:
For slag removal: approx. 0.05% of molten metal volume (500 g per 1 ton).
For slag adhesion prevention and molten metal purification: approx. 0.01~0.02% of molten metal volume (100~200 g per 1 ton).
After melting, remove the floating slag using a slag removing agent.
