Product

SHELL MACHINE Exothermic Insulating Compound

SHIFT REMOVER B

Purpose

Prevents adhesion of resin residue and tar on shell molds, and allows easy removal even if adhesion occurs.

Features

Excellent Anti-Adhesion Performance A thin film is formed on the mold surface to prevent the adhesion of tar and resin residue.
Superior Release Properties Even adhered tar can be easily removed, improving work efficiency.
Lubricating Effect Due to Graphite Content It enhances surface smoothness and provides excellent release properties and wear resistance.

How to use

1. Clean off any resin residue adhering to the mold, then apply the undiluted solution evenly by spray or brush.
Note: Graphite may settle, so stir well before use.
2. Heat the mold to 150°C or higher and maintain for about 5~10 minutes.
A graphite-containing film will form on the surface, creating a strong heat-resistant layer (film thickness: 5 μm or less).
3. For core molding, continue to use a release agent as usual.
4. Tar and resin residue will be less likely to adhere, and even if they do, they can be easily removed.
