Purpose
SAND BARRIER MA is a fast-drying surface stabilizer developed to prevent defects on mold surfaces.
It effectively improves mold surface hardness and reduces defects such as sand adhesion and erosion.
In addition, it uses a special heat-resistant resin, which helps suppress gas generation during pouring compared to conventional products.

How to use

Surface Stability Test
Green sand (60 g) was formed into a cylindrical shape (φ45 × 30) using a hand press, and 5 g of SAND BARRIER MA was applied.
After standing for 30 minutes at room temperature (approx. 25°C), moistened filter paper was used to check the adhesion of sand.
